Publisher

Details of the publisher (name, legal form, address, e-mail) can be found at golfoddsnz.com. Publishing them lets the site be identified and gives questions and complaints a destination.

Nature of the site

Information is the only product of Nzgolfodds. Bets are not accepted, customer accounts are not kept and no money passes through it, nor does it introduce readers to bookmakers. No page promises a certain win.

New Zealand betting law in brief

TAB NZ is the sole provider lawfully offering racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand; section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020 has made it so since 28 June 2025, and TAB and Betcha are its online brands. The Department of Internal Affairs supervises compliance. No other bookmaker holds a New Zealand licence, because no licence can be sought. Betting with TAB NZ is open from the age of 18.

Responsibility for content

Great care goes into the articles and they are reviewed, yet odds, markets and promotion terms keep changing, and the provider’s own current terms override anything written here. No liability is accepted for decisions made on this content. The Fair Trading Act 1986 prohibits misleading conduct in trade and is observed in the writing.

Outside links were checked when inserted. Their later content is beyond the site’s reach and answered for by their owners. If a link leads to unlawful material and this is reported, the link is removed.

Under the Copyright Act 1994 the site’s texts, tables and graphics are protected. Use that goes beyond fair dealing calls for prior written consent from the editors.

Gambling harm

Betting has risks. Where signs of excessive gambling appear, in a person or someone close to them, the Gambling Helpline and Safer Gambling Aotearoa can be approached. On its own pages TAB NZ describes tools including deposit limits, bet limits and self-exclusion.
